Innovating Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in Baltic States
Search

Alvis and Alons from the MR Latvia team conducted research at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (MagLab) as part of the PANACEA project. The visit aimed to perform Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) solid-state NMR experiments on samples prepared at NIRI to gain access to state-of-the-art instrumentation unavailable locally. In addition to the experimental work, the visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge with MagLab scientists. Discussions covered DNP methodology, sample preparation strategies, optimization of microwave irradiation conditions, and advanced NMR instrumentation. These interactions strengthened the collaboration between the participating institutions and expanded expertise in high-sensitivity solid-state NMR methods.
