We are proud to announce that Jana Petkus has successfully defended her Master’s thesis titled:

“Alpha-synuclein and Virus-Like Particles Conjugate as a Potential Vaccine Candidate Against Parkinson’s Disease: Biophysical Characterization”

This important research contributes to the understanding of novel therapeutic strategies for Parkinson’s disease, focusing on the innovative use of virus-like particles in vaccine development.

Jana’s thesis was completed as part of the scientific section of the MR Latvia project, a collaborative initiative aimed at advancing medical research in neurodegenerative diseases.
