Advancing NMR Through DNP

The growing importance of Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) in enhancing the sensitivity of solid-state NMR inspired our first dedicated scientific meeting on the topic. This event marked a key moment for the NMR research community, offering a focused platform for sharing new discoveries, discussing technical challenges, and exploring future directions in DNP methods.

Held online on December 18, 2024, the 1st Scientific Meeting on DNP Methods brought together leading scientists to present their latest findings in areas such as high-field magic-angle spinning (MAS), novel polarising agents, and biomolecular applications of DNP-enhanced NMR.

Agenda

10:00 – 10:05
Welcome & Introduction
🎙️ Alons Lends

10:05 – 10:25
The Solid-State NMR Linewidth in Biosolids Under DNP Conditions
👨‍🔬 Guido Pintacuda

10:25 – 10:50
Novel Polarising Agents for High-Field MAS DNP
👩‍🔬 Anna Lesage

10:50 – 11:10
Dynamic Nuclear Polarization Meets Fast MAS: High-Resolution Proton-Detected NMR of Biomolecules
👨‍🔬 Tanguy Le Marchand

We sincerely thank all speakers and participants for making this first DNP-focused meeting a success. The event offered a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration within the NMR community.
