Join us for a stimulating session featuring the outstanding CNRS experience pushing the frontiers of Solid-State NMR for Organic Chemistry, Catalysts, and Materials research:
Agenda:
09:30 – 09:50 | Postdoctoral Researcher Wassilios Papawassiliou
“Fast MAS Solid-state NMR and paramagnetic materials”
09:50 – 10:10| Postdoctoral Researcher Teresa Insinna
“Surface-enhanced DNP and catalysis”
10:10 – 10:30 | Discussion
Dr. Wassilios Papavassiliou is a post-doctoral researcher at CRMN Lyon. He has completed his PhD under teh direction of Prof. AJ Pell in Stockholm University (2022), specializing in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and materials chemistry, and after a post-doctoral experience in Grenoble (CEA, under the direction of Dr G. De Paepe) has joined the CRMN in 2024. His work focuses on advanced NMR methods for studying nanomaterials and catalytic systems, contributing to key developments in energy and materials science.
Dr. Teresa Insinna is a post-doctoral researcher at CRMN Lyon. She obtained her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge (2024), under the supervision of Prof. Dame Clare P. Grey, where she specialized in the development and application of advanced nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) methods for studying battery materials. In 2025 she joined the CRMN as a post-doctoral fellow, focusing on the characterization of supported catalysts using magic-angle spinning (MAS) dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) NMR. Her research contributes to methodological innovation and to the understanding of catalytic processes relevant to sustainable energy technologies.
This webinar is a great opportunity for professionals, researchers and students in organic chemistry and material science to connect with cutting-edge developments in the field. Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues who may be interested.
